The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) is responsible for cybersecurity in Belgium. It has drawn up a national cybersecurity policy and encourages all sectors to take actions in line with the policy.
The CCB has taken over the management of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT). This team is responsible for the detection, observation and analysis of online security problems, and informing internet users about security.
The CCB, created in 2014, is under the authority of the Prime Minister. The Chancellery provides the centre with the administrative and logistic support it needs to carry out its tasks.
