Rules of the "Traveling through pictures" competition of Belgium. Uniquely Phenomenal.

Article 1: Organiser

The Chancellery of the Prime Minister's Federal Public Service, with its registered office at 16 rue de la Loi/Wetstraat, 1000 Brussels, hereinafter referred to as "the Chancellery of the Prime Minister" or "the organiser".

Article 2: Participation

The competition is open to any natural person aged 13 and over residing in Belgium and in possession of a valid identity document.
The following people are not allowed to take part in the competition: persons who themselves, or whose representatives and/or staff, live together with staff members of the organiser or its subcontractors who have taken part in the organisation of the competition.
At each stage of the competition, the organiser reserves the right (1) to obtain from the participant any information enabling the organiser to verify compliance with those conditions, and (2) to exclude from the competition any participant for whom it is not possible to verify compliance with those conditions to the full satisfaction of the organiser. The organiser is not obliged to motivate their decision.
Only individual participations are possible. Participation as a group is not allowed.
On Facebook, you can only participate in the competition by responding to the publication of the Facebook competition. In their response to the publication, participants must guess the city where the person wearing the Uniquely Phenomenal glasses is located and name 2 people they want to visit that city in the future with.
On Instagram, you can only participate by responding correctly to the Instagram stories that mention the competition. The participant must take a screenshot of the relevant story, share this screenshot in their own story and enter the following: the city where the person wearing the Uniquely Phenomenal glasses is located, tag two friends, tag the Belphenomenal account.
People who wish to participate in the competition can do so both on Facebook and on Instagram and can try their luck every day of the competition. Incomplete entries are not valid. All conditions must be met. The organisers bear no responsibility for online answers that are not found in the database.

Article 3: Acceptance of the competition rules

Registration for and participation in the competition implies unreserved acceptance of these rules and of any decision taken by the organiser concerning registration for, participation in and the course of the competition.
The organiser reserves the right to change the rules at any time. The rules and any modification thereof will be published on the website of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (https://chancellery.belgium.be/en/rules).
The rules, any amendments thereto and the organiser's decisions shall enter into force immediately and are not open to appeal.
Failure to comply will result in the automatic and immediate exclusion of the participant, without prejudice to any means of redress available to the organiser to compensate for any damage suffered, including any damage to the organiser's image or that of his group.

Article 4: Duration of the competition

The competition starts at 10:00 AM (Belgian time) on Saturday 21 November 2020 and ends at 10:00 AM (Belgian time) on Saturday 28 November 2020.
The organiser reserves the right to suspend or cancel the competition at any time, without any obligation to anyone for any compensation whatsoever.

Article 5: Prize

The prize to be won is a gift bag containing Uniquely Phenomenal goodies.
Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or other benefits in kind.

Article 6: Competition mechanism/winner

Apart from the first day, two winners will be announced on each day of the competition, one on Facebook and one on Instagram. These winners must meet the conditions set out in Article 2 of these rules and will be selected using a "random comment picker".
Winners will be notified via a private message on Facebook/Instagram no later than 14 days after the end of the month in which they participated and informed about how to receive the prize.
The winner accepts that their name may be published on the website and social media of Belgium. Uniquely Phenomenal. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any consequences of the publication of the winner's details.

Article 7: General

Under no circumstances can the organiser be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to persons (participants or others) or assets in the context of participation in this competition. This also applies to technical malfunctions and/or defects of the computer equipment (hardware & software) resulting from participation in the competition. Nor is the organiser responsible if participation in the competition becomes temporarily or permanently impossible or if the connection is interrupted or disrupted.
Through their participation in this competition, participants accept, without any reservation or restriction, all the provisions of the rules, as well as any decision taken by the organiser on the occasion of or within the framework of this contest.
The possible annulment of a provision in these rules will not affect the validity of the other provisions.
All complaints about this competition must be sent by e-mail to the following address: webmaster@premier.fed.be at the latest 5 working days after the closing of the competition.

Article 8: Personal data

By taking part in this competition, participants state that they agree to the processing of their personal data by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, which is the data controller, having its registered office at 16 rue de la Loi/Wetstraat, 1000 Brussels, for the proper organisation of this action.
Personal data is protected in accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (which entered into force on 25 May 2018) on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).
The organiser informs participants that their personal data will only be processed within the framework of the organization and the course of this competition.
The personal data of the winners (surname, first name, e-mail address and postal address) will be kept for a period of five years, in case the Court of Auditors would like to check the competition and the winnings sent to the winners.
Participants have the right to consult and correct their personal data, whatever its nature.

Article 9: Disputes

This competition is governed by Belgian law. All disputes relating to this competition are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.
